From the time we are born our bodies are constantly going through stages of change, growth, and evolution. Some times it is change that we welcome, other times is change that causes us dismay. One thing that is consistent, is change. It is inevitable that as long as we live, we will encounter change in our bodies. Part of loving our bodies and ourselves is learning to embrace that change. When I met Jennae Petersen over four years ago, it was to be her makeup artist for a photo shoot. She was being interviewed “Execumama” Akilah S. Richards, for a post about her awesomeness as a mom, wife, and entrepreneur. I remember her being quite shy about the process of getting makeup and doing the photo shoot. She was somewhat new to the experience and a little anxious about it all. However, if you look at her website today, she’s a fierce fashionista, boldly embracing the camera and celebrating her body. It has been so amazing to see how she has learned to embrace her body and her self over the years that I just had to invite her to be a part of the Captured Freedom Experience with us. She is truly a woman that has consistently evolved spiritually, emotionally, and physically over the years. I am excited to share her interview, as we discuss how she’s learned to embrace this evolution.
